Payment plans that extend over the three years training duration are welcome to be proposed to WCDMT.

(Costs of travel in and out of Vancouver or other BC intensive locations is the responsibility of the student, as are accommodation costs). Sometimes students local to Vancouver will share their homes with visiting students, or visiting students can share accommodations together. AirBnB room rentals are reasonable within the Vancouver area near the studio we train in in the Strathcona Neighbourhood of Vancouver. Students can expect to need to travel at least seven to eight times in the course of three years to BC, Canada.

NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit payment is 50% of course fees, so $250.00 for 1 credit course etc. The deposit is due at registration, in order to hold your a space for you (most classes have limited space available). Please see full course fees refund policy.

Course Cancellation REFUND POLICY: If a student cancels before 45 days advance notice, refund is in full minus $100 admin fee. If student cancels before 30 days of course start date, a 50% refund of course fees is offered. If student cancels after 14 days before course start, full fees are kept, unless in case of emergency in which a course credit is offered minus the deposit amount. If student cancels 7 days or less before course start, no refund is available for deposit and course fees are retained. In emergency situations, consideration will be given to potential future course financial credit applied minus course deposit.

E-Transfer is preferred method of payment once your registration form has been received and your registration is confirmed by the Instructor of Administrator. ETransfers can be sent to westcoastdancemovementtherapy@gmail.com or payment can be arranged via PAYPAL or STRIPE for Visa transactions. Students are asked to cover PayPal fees and to send funds in CAD dollars.

SUPERVISION RATES: Students will need to pay for their own supervision once they begin their 700 internship hours. Supervision takes place outside of class hours, and each student is responsible for determining which BC-DMT supervisor they would like to receive supervision from. This can possibly be a WCDMT instructor or anyone else in the field. (Students will pay their supervision fees to their supervisor directly.) WCDMT offers an Internship Supervision and Professional Development optional course, which provides 30hours of supervision in a group setting online, for significant Supervision hours savings.

CONSULTATIONS BEYOND COURSE HOURS: Most instructors will be happy to have the occasional after course phone call with students for short durations of time (ie under 30 minutes). While a student, if further consultation with course instructors is sought out, the fee payable to the WCDMT instructor will be negotiated with that instructor.

Administrative Coordinator for WCDMT is Melissa Flagg,  reachable at westcoastdancemovementtherapy@gmail.com
