This fun and dynamic course introduces Movement Observation and Analysis through the frameworks of Laban Movement Analysis and the Kestenberg Movement Profile, as well as integrates concepts and understanding from Body-Mind Centering.
A large focus of this course is on your own embodiment and expansion of movement repertoire as well as some initial clinical application of movement analysis.
45 hours for 3 credits (ADTA Alt Route).
Instructors: Donna Redlick (primary instructor), Hana Kamea and Janet Kaylo (instructors are all Certified Movement Analysts). There will also be a guest teacher for the Kestenberg Movement Profile portion of the training (KMP instructor TBA).

35 hrs synchronous and 10 hrs asynchronous
This is an intensive held over 7 Days, course hours vary, with most classes held 9:30 am – 5:30 pm (including breaks).
This is an online course, which is composed of “Synchronous” hours (35) in class together, and “Asynchronous” hours (10) out of class time, doing movement observation with various subjects and objects in your community (outdoors), working with partners, watching videos and other assignments.
All synchronous learning will take place in Vancouver, BC.
