This 2.5 day course explores Dance/Movement Therapy for Children and engages video content from The Moving Child Films (www.themovingchild.com/store).
Engaging children and families using the DMT tools of attunement, mirroring, kinaesthetic empathy and expansion of movement repertoire.
Learning to work with the movement and behavioural imprints of in utero, birth and early development and understand the relationship between movement and attachment/bonding.
There are two parts to this course: You can come to just Part I or both.
Part I (1 credit; 15hours): covers material for applications in utero through age 7.
Part II (1 credit: 15hours): covers material for applications age 8-16.

(Tatla Hall is a beautiful town hall that doubles as a movement studio with stunning views of the mountains in a pristine location: is 2.5 hours driving west from Williams Lake, BC. Airport shuttle from Williams Lake is available on Thursday August 29)
